Downgrading my nikon d80 to buy a point n shoot pretty much because i want something i can keep with me.

Looking at a canon s95 or maybe a nikon p300 any other suggestions??

Canon S100 has the same processor as the new 1DX, but has sugary battery life. S95 is pretty much one of the best point and shoots you can buy nowadays. Fujifilms X10 is good also :D
 
Have a look at www.dpreview.com they have tested many of these P+S cameras and reviews are good reading. You have a wide choice available but I would write down a few "must haves" first regarding zoom length required, iso performance, stabilisation, low light lens, RAW capability etc.
My only real advice would to buy one with as big a sensor as possible. This is where most of the image quality comes from and get one that will take RAW.
Check the classifieds here too if you have access. ( Oh, I see you are new so access to classifieds won't be available to you yet)

Thanks for ur advice, Thats a shame about the classifieds but nevermind ill probably of got a camera by the time im allowed to view them.

With that in mind does anyone know an alternaitve place to advertise my camera for sale without using ebay
