I have a Nikon Z6ii and an issue I’ve only just become aware of is that each time I press the shutter two exposures are taken as if I have continuous exposure set - which I haven’t ever used. I’ve tried to press the shutter more lightly but to no avail. Not a huge problem, I know but increasingly annoying. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Just a thought.....

Do you mean that you can hear(?) the shutter firing twice?

Or that when viewed on the computer you see two identical images?
If this latter have you set raw & jpeg shooting?

Yes, two exposures are taken. I’ll go and check autobracketing but again, I’ve never used that feature.

Problem solved. I must have inadvertently pressed the continuous and/ self timer button at the bottom of there back panel and set it to High Continuous. Now back on single. Many thanks for all the replies.
