Doodle me a tattoo

I've decided I'm having one last tattoo done on Thursday but I've tried doodling round the cannon that I want to have done and can't get it to match what's in my head (if you see what I mean)

Anyone want to have a doodle for me, this is the sort of thing I'm thinking of swirly type things round the cannon to make it look a bit different....

something like this:

Strewth - the second and third links are worlds apart!
I was expecting much more subtle differences - this is for life you know ;)

I think the second link would make a cracking tattoo.
Unusual, not boring and in the right size, placement and colours could be absolutely stunning.

I can visualise what you're thinking of, but I'm thinking of it 3d, with the swirly things like, er, a vine thingy round the cannon?

I suck at drawing though :(

I know it's for life, which is why I've not been happy with my own scribblings. I like the concept of the dots round the swirls on the first one but also liked the second one for those swirls. Might see if I can do something with the two

Yeah but not leave-ish if you see what I mean. I now too suck at drawing, which is why I was hoping some creative individual would be able to do something in photoshop for me, I haven't got photoshop on my new laptop as have put my elements disc somewhere very safe!

if you get an idea of positioning then it you can get a betta idea of a design

The cannon is an emblem of my rugby club so want to get it done but want something different to just having the cannon on it's own. It's going to go on my ankle and be about the size of a squash ball
 
B&W, greyscale or colour?

If colour, what are the colours of the rugby club.

I haven't got a lot of time but I have designed tribal tats for friends and a couple of cover ups so I my try and have a go. Any other symbols they use that may aid design?

Oh, and if you are only having the size of a squash ball you aren't going to get a lot of detail in the tat either
 
I was thinking the cannon in black outline and the swirls in red 9as the club colours are black and red), just wanted some simple really, not too intricate. I thought a squash ball was about 7cm in diameter - didn't really want anything bigger than that.

Much appreciated if you can do something but don't worry if you can't. I'm booked in for 2pm tomorrow :)

Have you spoken to your tattooist, if you give them an accurate description they should work with you to come to a good conclusion ?

Mine was actually designed by an industrial product designer, I explained in detail what I wanted and he nailed it first time, no-one really knows what it is and thats why I love it so much, it signifies a time in my life that I will remember for ever, every time I see my tattoo it makes me smile, smile about the good times.
 
I have, yes, and they said to bring the ideas with me tomorrow and that's pretty much the same reasons as I've got my last ones and this one will signify the start of a good year :D
