Don't you just HATE waiting for new kit to arrive?

I have been ill for the last 2 days and i had an order for DVD's of play.com which was apparently dispached on monday.
As i didnt feel too well on tuesday i thought i would suffer infront of the tv with the DVD's. It wasnt meant to be, didnt come on tues nor wednesday. Im sure they are waiting for me on the door mat now as i speak.

However Ed Brady did send me a flash to paly with so i wasn't too bored but i think i have blinded the cats though! :whistling:
 
I haven't ordered anything new lately so am not waiting for the postman/parcelfarce/******link/ to arrive.

This thread is making me very sad

My 50mm from kerso turned up today 12.50pm 4 days after ordering , a glass lcd protector ordered at the same time also arrived , not bad service from HK .
 
Best I add myself to this thread seeing as I'm waiting on delivery of my new toy.... err..... I mean vital unit of photographic equipment.

I want it, and I want it NOW!! :D

Thing is, there are too many around to make a decision!!
Don't want to spend a fortune, just for internet browsing, downloading piccies and doing emails that sort of thing.
Got a few games but hardly play them on the PC now.
Want value for money/highest spec I can.
Don't need monitor, keyboard etc. Just the base unit.....

Laptop user myself. A lot of them around with decent specs at the moment. Cheap as chips as well. Ever considered one?

Don't want a laptop, I got my daughter one for her birthday and lots of my friends have them but I don't like 'em myself.
Prefer a desktop PC.....;)
 
How appropriate that this thread is top of the list when I log in!

Just got home to find a parcel I wasn't excpecting till the 7th has been returned to the depot because I wasn't in. Unfortunately it has been returned to the nearest Fedex depot which is over 50miles away :(

I think I'll end up having to pick it up on saturday if I want to play with it over the weekend.. unless they can superspeed it to my work tomorrow.. But you can bet i'll be phoning the depot first thing :)

I had actually put it out of my mind thinking it would be Tuesday.. Now it's driving me crazy!

Well I would say they leave you more space on the desk, but looking at mine at the moment, you just end up filling that space with crap! :D

Such a good lens, I love mine :D

I'm waiting on a Pocket Wizard MultiMAX. Got it from DigitalRev for £160 including shipping and customs charges. Can't wait! They look so awesome.
 
I won a old sigma prime 5.6 400mm lens and wanted to get it on the digital with a 1.4 tele converter..

But when it came the lens has dust on the inner elements and everything is hazy....crumb and sod it....

If I send it off to sigma for cleaning it,d be another £89 + postage ,so at the moment it,s sat in the cuboard.......:shake:

Only bad deal on e-bay though....

She said I should treat myself because I was feeling a bit down.

Won a fleabay auction for an Oly E1 and 14-54mm last night. Just waiting for the guy to confirm payment method and insurance cover on the shipping.

And then they come in and you realize you have to wait another couple hours for the battery to charge up! Aaaargh!
 
Hey you are lucky, two weeks ago I dropped my only camera and it's broke I have to wait 21 days for a decision on weather they can fix it, replace it or give me vouchers for another one and the weather has been really nice, 1 week to go, my visa it getting really twichy :bang::bang::bang:
 
Will you lot stop going on about how great your nifties are... Bl**dy post office still haven't delivered mine from Kerso and now I'll have to wait till Monday at the earliest and the post doesn't come till after I've left for work grrrr... It's not fair :bang::bang::shake::shake:

I had to wait no time at all for my expo disc! :thumbs:

Dangermouse, I know exactly what you mean. Normally I end up getting sniped at the last min and loose out. Then its back to square one! :bang:
