Sometimes someone asks a question and I think of the answer then read on and find someone has posted the exact answer I was about to post. So I've clicked the like on that answer. However I don't know if it helps or even why I did it.
Similarly, I look at who's liked posts to get an idea as to how good the advice given might be - there are some people whose opinions I take more seriously than others.
Wouldn't want to see a dislike button - if something's that unlikeable, it's probably an RTM moment! I don't use the forum's ignore feature either - I can ignore users using my brane and leave threads making sense.
