Hi all,
we are going to Donna Nook on Friday to photograph the seals.Does anybody know if there are any cafes and public toilets in the area for a bit of brekky and a loo stop before we get the cameras out andstart shooting. Thanks in advance for any info.

From memory, I think there's a cafe in the village before you turn off down the long road to the parking area.

When you get to Donna Nook there is a small car park which will be full.

Next to the official car park there is a large field, as stated above it is down a long road, owned by a local farmer I guess. He charges a small fee for parking in his field (£1 the last time I went) and in the field there was a snack bar, similar to what you might find in a layby and there were also toilet facilities on the field. Donna Nook is well worth a visit.

If you get early you should get in the official free car park, there is a tea/coffee van comes about 8am, then about 9am the larger snack bar comes with good selection, I got in the car park just as it was getting light, I was about the third car to be in, this gave me time to sort myself out and have time with few people about, it got very busy around 11am as I was going, It was the 16th of November when I went, 771 pups had been born, they expect about 1500 around the end of the month, I should not leave it any longer as they start to leave, toilets are in the village,
hope this helps.
