I've just transferred the majority of the money that was paid into my bank account over to Darren for the peripherals - screen, leads and ancillaries etc.
The last bit has gone over to my PP account so it's all in one place.

edit: Doh looks like two spare Nikon batteries then lmao, better too many than not enough :D
 
This plan has developed and is continuing to develop further than I expected! Awesome stuff everyone, well done to Rob for getting the ball rolling once again :thumbs:

Thanks, the EN-EL3 in the PM was being ordered by Venomator, I was just PMing both of you at the same time BUT very many thanks indeed and he will now have 3 batteries for the camera and 2 sets of Eneloops for the flash :thumbs:
 
Im going to register the body on Monday to lock in the prices. Please email me stuart@digitaldepot.co.uk if anything changes but i have the camera and lens safely put aside and i might even put a big bow round it ;)

Hoping to get the screen ordered asap but funds are between Rob's account and mine at the moment.

I really want a Manfrotto arm and super clamp too asap so that I can check if they fit. Hopefully we can get them ordered too.

This is going to be one hell of a nice setup.

Two hours according to HSBC - the money's left my account and in HSBC's escrow or whatever pending fraud checks...

I'd be happier with Nikon OEM batteries...we're not short of cash after all - no need to skimp on this...

We only genuine Nikon ones they dont do any OEM ones.

Ill match the 7 Days shop price on the 2 so thats fine. Ill put them with the camera now. The battery is a Delkin on if thats ok.

errr...Nikon is OEM in this instance - Original Equipment Manufacturer...

Unless I'm completely a**-about-face on my understanding of the term...

I always thought OEM was for non retailed items so bulk unboxed.

Arkady has it, OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer although I've found that usually in the industry anything non-retail that comes in bulk to a supplier gets called OEM whether it is or isn't lol

Julian, this I am sure will come to its own natural conclusion when you will be fully kitted out, Lynn and the kids will get a good day out, you will have posted the images from that day out and the rest of TP can look on with a warm glow. :thumbs: Iain
