Now you have your domain, you need a hosting package I use this lit. Cheap and reliable and based in UK if any issues

http://www.apexhosting.co.uk/ukwebhosting.php#PackageB

Once you have hosting you need to point your domains to it. I can help if you like I'm free now if it helps?

If you have some webspace with your ISP then point the name towards that.

You won't get more than you get with dedicated hosting but at least you can get something up and running for free then take it from there.

Thanks for the quick replies guys in regards to the hosting if my friend typed www.myname.co.uk in would it come up like that or would it come up for instance apex

Thanks guys for you help I have this for know till I have time to look at my options http://tomtaylorphotography.co.uk/
Could I also ask we're is a good place to get a logo done for my self and quite cheapish something like they come up with the logo because I haven't a clue what I want

Best to look on somewhere like peopleperhour.com for a logo.

Here's something I just knocked up to maybe give you an idea:

You could point your domain name to a free blog account, the blog format (e.g. blogger.com) works well to put up your favourite shots as they come along.
