Hi,

I'm setting up a website - not for business as such (although if I got contacted for an image I'd no doubt do something), but its really just for fun - you know having a site messing with it, learning new skills etc.

I was considering something boring like johnnortonphotography, but in the past I've signed things off as tattyball productions (plus I could probably make a logo from that) so was considering that, but is it too obsure?

Any thoughts or ideas?

If your not using it for business purposes it really doesn't matter just pick something simple and that is spelt how it sounds so that you can easily direct friends and family to it. Even for a business I'm not convinced it is that important when compared to seo although it can obviously play a part in that too.

KIPAX, no need to be that narked - sorry if I wasted your valuable time by making you read my worthless post ;)

Just because I don't plan on it being a business just now is there any reason not to ask in the most obvious forum when it comes to domain name questions.

Which would be Computers, Websites and Other Technology...
 
Thanks for moving it - I'd done a search and most domain related questions were in business.
 
I just went with the boring one - takes less explaining - thanks for looking though :)
