I had a delivery the other day to a electric sub station. It was somewhere near to Sheerness and to get to in I had to drive through a wetland nature reserve. Well how I wished I taken my camera with me! I saw a couple of Marsh Harrier an and a little Egret. I've never seen any of those before. Also there were loads of other wildlife but those were two best..

Have any of you wished you had your camera situation?

Quite a few times, but one still stands out after many years.

I had a 35mm film camera then and knew I had no shots left on the roll. It was late in the day and I decided I'd not bother getting another film until the following morning.

We went to Stein Inn on Syke for the evening meal and were presented with one of the most stunning sunsets I have seen; people were leaving their meals to come out and take photos of it and I couldn't do a thing.

Always good to see new birds. You may not have seen a little egret before but I reckon you'll see more of them in the future, they seem to be spreading well.
