Anyway rant over, I got it off my chest, I will hold no grudge as it only a piddley ignored pm after all but I still stand by my op.

And also assuming the person acually sees the message. I personally have never had any PM's from this board, and have only sent one message. The message I sent needs no reply nor requests one, but if I the recipient decides to reply then furry muff.

Depends on the PM - sometimes I've been PM'd by someone who hasn't liked one of my Forum posts or comments and wanted to take it 'offline' so to speak, usually with some choice Anglo-Saxonry - I feel perfectly happy ignoring those.

If it's a request for information I will always do my best to respond as fully as possible or point the person in the right direction if I don't know the answer...though occasionally if the questioner is too dumb to perform a search (if asking a particularly basic photographic question) I may take my time in respondng...
 
Yes, especially when they've been online and blatently just not replied to it, even when you know it's been recieved (stays in your outbox till they open it on some boards). Makes me want to force-feed them their keyboard with a running start, especially when you're wanting to buy something off them.
 
What I frankly find quite irritating is utter impatience and the sending of PM comprising a solitary "?" just a mere 2.5 hours after sending the original. ;)

Now who here would do such a thing? Wouldn't be the OP by any chance? :lol: :exit:
 
i've had one or two ignored, can't say it botheres me too much, what is starting to bother me is the people who you buy/sell with don't bother giving feedback on itrader despite me giving them good feedback, i know it shouldn't but for some reason it does :baby:

I appear have set myself up here :D but I'm not bothered as I always answer pm messages if they require a reply or a thanks.

And in case anyone should think I was aiming the the thread at Jon (Hepburn, AKA Winston Wolfe) that was merely a friendly pm enquiring as to how he was, but I made the mistake of sending the ? to see if he had received it as he was active on the forum during those 2.5 hours.

The reply I was expecting which prompted this thread was for a bit of friendly useful advice I ha given someone, it could not have been misinterpreted as anything but that, and had I been given that advice via pm I would have replied with a simple "thanks Mate" :shrug:

Active, but mostly to do with the 12th challenge thread I was hosting that week. I was also out and about during that evening iirc, so I didn''t really have the time to compose a proper reply.

Anyway, I appreciate you taking time out to clarify the thread was not aimed at me. Personally, I was a little suspicious but couldn't thing why it would have been aimed at me. :shrug:
