I am in the process of planning quite a serious upgrade from my current setup.

After wearing the search button out no end I have decided a full frame body is right for me and as such, will be buying a 5D mk2 or potentially a mk3 if the rumors about a release before the second half of 2011 are true.

However, EF lenses are somewhat new to me and I have never really researched them, always looked at EF-S lenses however with the FF EF-S obviously aren't possible.

Now I have a pretty good idea of what I want and have nailed down my list to the following -

Canon 700-200 F2.8 IS version 2

Canon 17-40 F4 L

Canon 50mm 1.4



Now here is my predicament, I also want to add a fisheye lens and a Macro lens.

For these two lenses a budget of around £1200 for the both would be ideal however this could be increased if needs be.

Any suggestions?

Also views on the planned setup above?
 
The 17-40 is said to be quite distorted on full frame (though it is going to be wide, so to be expected)...consensus seems to be that the 16-35 is generally a better lens, but it is silly money. I have the same focal range on my 40D and to be honest I do miss the 40 - 70mm gap. The 50 fills it some of the time, but there are times I wish I had gone for a 24-70 instead of the 17-40.

Depending on what you are planning on shooting but the 70-200 F4 IS is an insanely nice lens and VERY sharp even at F4 and a good few £ cheaper. You don't get the 2.8 label but the IS lets you still shoot in pretty low light (used mine for live music stuff before and it was fine).
 
The above setup looks like a dream setup to me! I have just got the 50mm 1.4 (albeit on a 40D not a 5DII) and am quite impressed with the results once stopped down a bit (around f2.0).

Macro wise, I have just had the 100mm f2.8 L delivered today and from a brief play it appears amazingly sharp! All the reviews say the non-IS one is almost as sharp but I will be using mine for portrait type shots of the kids too and non-macro stuff so felt the IS would come in handy. AF is lightning fast too which is a bonus!
