I'd be happier if the guy put a picture up of the camera, just to prove it actually exists.....

Have you actually read the feedback? :rules: I'd be wary....three of the six items sold have never turned up. :bat:

Reading his feedback, he seems to have refused to honour the last sale and demanded more money, the added text in the listing concerned would seem to back this up.

Oh and....

Can I come and live under your rock with you?

Its about as safe as letting your kids play on the M25 in rush hour :)

Even with good feedback there's no guaranty. About 3 or 4 years ago I bought a second hand laptop from a long term seller with 4 figures of feedback and a 98 or 99% satisfaction level. Two days later I got an email and phone call from the Met. Turns out he was a major international fence who had 3 separate eBay selling accounts.

Read the Feedback as a Seller closely:

  1. won the item but the seller didn't wont to sale it due to disagreement in price
  2. Seller was in touch from start. Unfortunately item was withdrawn.
  3. Although i had to cancel the transaction, this e-bayer is top quality.

Scams happen on eBay all the time....Paypal isn't as supportive as it could be either.
