Yes, Tamron calls it VC - Vibration Compensation.

Probably because they can't think of another 2 letter abbreviation for it...

TW - Tamed Wobble

read about that

looking to upgrade my 17-50 to the canon 17-55 next year.
would love to see a comparative test of these three options (including the VC version)
mainly focusing speed, accuracy and general sharpness....
