Does old gin increase in value ?

I have just been given a small (13 1/3 fl oz) sealed bottle of Booth's dry gin, 70 proof, with a 1964 date on the back.

Before I open it I wondered if anyone knew if it was worth anything as it would feel wrong to keep it if it is !
The content is a pale yellow colour, which may not be a good sign..

Yup - thats the colour of mine too (gin, not pee, though actually...)
