Yes
I've had it installed on my (now dead) Windows XP Laptop but whilst it installed on my newer Windows 8 laptop I am having too many problems which makes me think they are not compatible. The main problem is it just will not open many of my files - not RAW but Jpegs

I have it working on Win 8.1 Preview. Seems Ok but I haven't given it a really good try out of the many functions. When I have some time I'll put some more images through it and let you know.

Thanks for that Colin it would be appreciated

First of all thanks guys for your help

I've uninstalled, then reinstalled, & it now DOES open all my Jpegs BUT I do like to 'open as a RAW file' but box appears saying "can't open due to program error". So if anyone with Win8 & CS2 can try it for me to see if it works on their set up I would be grateful.

I've tried the compatibility mode without success :shake:

Have you installed the latest version of Camera Raw that supports CS2 as well:

I'm assuming the raw files you are trying to open opened OK on the XP installation?

For raw files from cameras released in the last 5 or 6 years you will have to convert to the DNG format before you can access camera raw in this version of Photoshop.

Sorry for the delay in replying.

I can confirm that in my version of Win 8.1 Preview with PS CS2 I can open Jpeg files, either as they are or using the Open As > Camera Raw.

Also tried a number of adjustments and filters and tried the sliders in the ACR dialog - all OK.

Thanks for that Colin

Mine is still playing up but I use Lightroom for my RAWs and CS2 for detailed stuff as well as PE10.
