Does anyone own a Sensorklear Loupe kit?

I'm on the far side of the world - and have just received a Sensorklear loupe kit - that aside from the fact the LED's don't work - so it has to be returned - the texture on the outside casing feels unusual. If anyone has one - can they tell me if the outer cover that you remove should have a sticky feel to it. See the attached photo.

I have one and no it shouldn't look or feel like that. Mine is smooth black plastic.

The LEDs just may need new batteries or have you already tried that?

Yes tried two different sets of batteries that work in something else ok.. But it felt a bit strange to have this kinda sticky effect on the outside surface... Thanks for confirming its not normal
