Does anyone know where I can get a Lens Hood for Sigma 10-20mm f4 5.6?

...that doesn't cost £30. Don't mind paying for quality, but it's a bit of plastic (and mine burst into a thousand bits).

Bought one from eBay and it's much too big. Shows well and truly in the frame anywhere close to 10mm. Also don't like the screw on.

Does anyone know if there's a replica of the Sigma lens hood available anywhere?
 
I wanted one for my 10-20 f2.8 and ordered one off Ebay. Same as you it was rubbish, screw on and too big. It's in the back of the cupboard now.

No one sells the correct pattern so I bit the bullet and got one off Sigma. Worth it in the end rather than searching high and low without finding one.

I can't imagine there is a large enough demand for these sort of things for any third party company to go to the trouble (and expense) of setting up tooling to produce them

Think you will have to bite the bullet and buy from Sigma

I have one spare and you are welcome to it for the cost of postage, it is a bit bashed around and dirty but you could probably clean it up, I got a new one when I bought a scrap 10-20 on ebay to snaffle the front element. I will take a few pictures and post them so you can see it.

edit...its a proper sigma one but as you can see it is tired but no cracks...caver you see :)

That's very kind. Don't care what it looks like really, so will happily take it off your hands if the offer is still there. Just let me know how much and where to send the money to.
