Does anyone know about Mull

I am planning a holiday to Scotland next year, 1 week near Blairgowrie and one on the Isle of Mull. I know both places are great for photography and have been to the Blairgowrie/Glenshee area before but I wondered if anyone knows about Mull, has stayed in a cottage on Mull, or even better lives there.I am trying to find a nice, small cottage.
