Buy all software from the Usa and pay duty when it arrives, we have family over there and buy most from the states but always pay the duty which so far has never been above £13.....anyone else do this as we do it legally and dont hide the fact it was bought in the UK and will be shipped to the UK all the american shops are happy to do this so long as its going to a US resident first

I haven't done this myself, but can't see any reason not to. I don't unfortunately have family over there myself but I do work with someone who does, and who would be willing to do this.

As long as duty is paid, I can't see any issues. Considering pricing is usually dollars for pounds huge savings could be made.

I havent had anything delivered here yet that hasnt got through the dragnet, everytime I have to visit the sorting office to pick up my item and pay the duty which I dont mind as its still a saving doing it the legal way.
I usually do most of my shopping in the UK but some things are just way overpriced to buy here

Even living in Canada, things are still cheaper to buy in the USA. If only crossing the border wasn't such a huge trauma, I'd go over more often! Shipping is not cheap which doesn't make sense.
