Yes
On my iPhone I have the models I have photographed in folders with names so If anyone asks to see my work I can show them. I also have a folder where I save any poses I happen to come across while on the net so I can maybe try these with a model. I was out at dinner and my phone was on the table and my sister in law picked it up to see a photo I'd just taken of her but curiosity got the better of her and she looked in the poses section and made the whole table aware of her next statement asking why I had porn on my phone!! I don't see the phone as a phone I see it as a device to store ideas like you would have collected clippings out of magazines and such for ideas to try out later before iPhones and such came out. Just wondered if anyone else does this or had this happen

I don't store photos in that way, on the iPad I use Evernote for the inspiration stuff though, I make visual notebooks, can also be updated from the pc. And as its an app it stops people finding stuff by accident.

I don't work with models but presumably anyone you'd trust with your phone already knew what type of photography you were into? So the 'porn' reference was surely light hearted.

Yeah I do this... take photos of images in magazines or on my pc screen and then save them in a folder called 'poses'. Then if I'm ever struggling with a client who isn't very good at following direction I whip my phone out and show them a pic of what I mean.

Although the poses I have saved are very 'safe' and maybe you should save poses from safer places than youporn lol ;)

Yeah it was light hearted but don't think the rest of the restaurant thought so lol I used to have Evernote will have to look into it more or maybe store that stuff on Dropbox

I do this as well but as my 10 year daughter sometimes plays with my phone I now have a hidden folder on my website where I upload the 'inspirational' to instead of keeping them on my phone. Any photos I've taken that are Facebook friendly then I'll happily keep them on my phone but I am careful what's on there for this very reason.

Most of my friends and family are well aware of the kinds of photos I take (which is pretty much always people) but I still get the 'jokes' of any photos of good looking girls being porn and even worse 'jokes' of any photos of good looking girls under 21 making me a paedophile!!

One of my trademarks is when I give someone a CD of my pictures I always label it HARD CORE PORNOGRAPHY that always has them doing the explanation dance later but only to people with a sense of humor.
