Does anybody know how to transform a normal portrait into a comic effect?

I'm looking for a tutorial or suggestions on how to create the 'comic style' in portraits and other action shots.

Does anybody have any good sites or ideas please.

Hey Chris - I don't have time to look just now, but there's a thread on here (of mine I think) where I asked about borders and edges to images. Someone added a fantastic link in there to lots of Photoshop actions - several of which were just what you are after.

Have a search for my threads with border in the title and have a read through until you find the link. It was posted recently (in the last week or so).

Sorry I can't search myself just now, if you don't manage to find it I will have a look later for you.
