I used to have it and it took some good pics, i ended up getting the Canon 70-300 IS mainly for the stabiliser.

I have that issue with my nifty fiftyAye, i don't use it much but it's generally good i think, sometimes it won't focus (auto) when I'm trying to use it which annoys me but who knows, that could be me!
I am so glad to hear you say that, I will be using it mainly for macro, wildlife and portraitsI used to have one a while back. Can't say enough good things about it, it was superb. Very sharp and stunning colours and contrast. The only downside was the slow AF, it was fast enough for airshows etc but might be a bit slow for motorsports...?
