Do you listen to music when processing?

I listen to anything brütal :D

Basically, whatever comes up in iTunes from a selection of metal and hard rock!

yes, the last batch of 600 images i had to sift through my itunes was a god send.

as for what kind im not sure its worth mentioning as im a bit of a dance/trance/breaks guy :D

Normally I don't but very occasionally I will, in the office we tend to have the radio on in the background, but we are usually talking over it most of the time.

I listen to music any time I am in front of my pc....

Pink Floyd
Black Sabbath
Kings of Leon
Beatles
Ray Charles
Stranglers
Creedence Clearwater Revival

the list goes on and on. I am easy pleased with my music tastes

I listen to music whilst doing most things. I have very eclectic tastes ranging from chart stuff such as La Roux (playing now) through dubstep artists such as Burial all the way to classical greats like Beethoven. My Mum says I have a song for every occasion and she's probably right. Can't imagine life without a soundtrack!

Yes, i always listen music when editing pics.

Snow Patrol
U 2
Michael Buble
Stereophonics
Beatles
Ministry of Sound Chilled Albums are the current favourites.

Always...

Frank Zappa
Steve Vai
Neil Young
Goldfrapp
Hooverphonic
And at the mo New York instumentalists Ratatat.

If I have had a good productive photography day and there's a lot of images to shift through, then usually I have a Tangerine Dream album playing on my headphones as I resize and process them photos for internet use.
I won't ever be short on Tangerine Dream music to listen to as I have over 90 albums of them.

I've started listening to audiobooks recently. Really helps the time pass during those week long processing sessions.

What? You all over 30?

Cool fun photo stuff, indie/emo/industrial rock, bit of (not %@*%) dnb/club/dubstep(ish) stuff...

boring lame 'non photography' photography, something smoother, really digging M83 and sigur ros atm. Kind of ...numbs the mind :P

Oh, and always with a side order of beer or wine...

Saw them live once in the 70s in a small place before they got big.

Its Ludovico Einaudi (sp) for me - just like to chill whilst PP - not that I've done a great deal in the last year or so :-(

hah, the odd shoot sure has made me wish there was something strong enough in the world :P

350 drunk sports players grip and grin at an awards ceremony? pass the absinthe >_>

SMOOTH FM for me while processing.. Sweet Soul music all night long :)

I always listen to music; and since i have a really varied taste it can be anything from Pantera to Tears for Fears.

Always listen to music no matter what I'm doing, I feel naked without it :D No particular choice really, just whatever is playing on Spotify at the time.

I do sometimes process without music, but I seem to find it easier when I have some background noise. I have no idea why though.

shuts out the real world I do it all the time, my mate uses tv which is bad cos I watch it :D

Pretty much always have some form of noise on whatever I'm doing on the comp.

Usually just a shuffle of 70/80s in iTunes or VH1 Classic although that can be a little distracting as I just watch the bottom right of the monitor... :D

Gary, classic! Never thought of that one, will have to try it some time. Big fan of the old RHPS:D Can inmagine how inspiring it must be

Hey David1701, great to see you are still with us (woz worried when I saw the suspender)

D

I always put my iPod on, through the hi-fi speakers, on 'random' and then ... totally ignore it :D!

Sometimes it plays about 50 songs during a long processing session and at the end of it all I'm lucky if I can remember three of them :(. PPing's just too engrossing for me, and being a bloke, I can't multi-task anyway .
