If so, what do you listen to.

A random question perhaps, but just curious.

Personally I tend to listen to chilled out stuff (Moby etc.) for some reason when I'm processing and searching through images for "keepers".
 
Sometimes I do.

Not today though, noise is uncomfortable
 
Normally listen to whatever is playing on my spotify playlist at the time, dont have anything specific.
 
Almost always. My music tastes are somewhat varied though. A few from my "recently played" on iTunes:

lappy on random quite a lot or the radio or a specific playlist

I try to avoid going anywhere without my hd555's :D

I have the internet radio stations on whilst editing photos or painting wargame figures. The background noise helps pass the time. Also reminds me that time is passing and that I should probably go to bed.

Fav stations:-
Kerrang - Love a bit of rock
Radio 5 - Listen to the live sport
Redoubt Radio - I know one of the DJ's
 
Right now, it's "The End" by The Doors. OMG, I feel old...

iTunes is SO useful sometimes...
 
Never. I can't concentrate properly with noise around me, and prefer silence for post processing, reading and writing (I do a lot of this). My daughter (25, scientist) is the opposite.

That was a joke! Mostly old reggae/dub and ska like the skatalites, wailers, upsetters and mad professor. I like a huge eclectic mix though, but not as far as the banana's.

I have a DAB radio on my desk. If the Cricket's on I'll be listening to Test Match Special.

Otherwise it's Radio 1, 6 Music or something from my iTunes.

classical - choral, early, piano, symphonies
World - African, Spanish, Moroccan, Bali-an
rock - Beck, Floyd, Elliot Smith, JK

We have a full on sound system too
 
Usually something in my iTunes, my tastes are widening as I get older but I still don't like rock.
Or a Skype conversation.

I'm partial to a bit of Deep Purple, Peter Frampton or Edie Brickell & New Bohemians when cultivating my art :D but sometimes only silence will do ;)

I always listen to music when processing, or anything involving me sitting down for long periods of time for that matter, such as studying. Don't listen to any particularly type of music, just stick my ipod on shuffle :D
 
Yes i do.

I was shooting in the kitchen the other day and took the laptop in there. I put the following music on to give me a bit of a push as for the past week, I've been working on two college assignments which must be handed in on Tuesday for marking and I'm horrendously behind with the projects.

Anyway, I'm the wrong side of 40 now but still my music tastes are still the same as they were when I was 13 (much to my daughter's horror):

AC/DC with the late great Bon Scott
Iron Maiden (Up the Irons)
Pink Floyd (David Bowie comfortably numb), I never really liked PF when I was younger
Motorhead (God Save the Queen) is brilliant
Cradle of Filth Nymphetamine Fix and a cover of Maiden's Hallowed Be Thy Name. Tip - never listen to Cradle of Filth live, they're absolutely awful.:)
Some of David Coverdale's tracks. Ain't no love in the heart of the city is a favourite of mine. I saw a clip of him on YouTube the other day and the interviewer commented on David's full head of hair (quite obviously a wig) and Coverdale said something like 'oh yes, this hair is all my own'. Never heard such rubbish, he must be at least 61:)

Anyway, you're probably bored still reading this so I'll go now.:)

I just listen to the voices in my head...........
 
i always look for influences in music when processing many of my images have a sound track and heavily influenced by the feel of the track... I posted one ages ago in landscape called the bells of lal which is a joe satriani instrumental track
 
Generally have a bit of ** in the background, but have been known to venture to classical stuff too!!!!
