Do you know anything about bearings ?

Hoping someone with engineering knowledge can advise me please.

I have this bearing I need to replace.

It is marked 6205RS.
This bearing has failed and is now being replaced with a bearing numbered 6205LUV
6205RS is common and easy to find. I cannot find 6205LUV.
I'm pretty sure they are both identical sizes.
What is the significance of 'LUV' (if any) ?

Thanks guys. I did google and found various bearing table descriptions without finding any reference to LUV.

Daniel’s link led me to LU = bearing with one rubber seal. Just need to find out want the V means.

It does mention a V suffix in the link I put up, the trouble is I don’t know if it’s relevant to your bearing. Is there any way of checking with the manufacturer of the replacement?

Aagh ! My apologies, I missed that ‘V’ and I waded through all that link. I also am not sure of the relevance but I needed to know what the V was.
