Not any more, no. I've been considering starting another one. I'll give yours a read :)

No. 2 main reasons-

#1, What I get up to is my business and I see no reason to tell the world what I've been up to!

#2, Not sure anyone would be interested and I'm sure that if they were, that I'd want that sort of person to be the last to know my business!

It's not worth the effort - just think of the level of sel-promotion you might have to go to just to get someone to read it! ;)

I do because I had to do it for a college course. It is mainly photography but I do sometimes go off on one about something

Somewhere in the "Out Of Focus" section, there was a thread started to get people sharing blogs.

..or maybe they do it because they enjoy it :)

I started one some time ago, now the focus is mostly on the footie I cover as well as other things that interest me and hopefully others. It gets a fair number of visits and a nice number of followers. Costs nothing except my time. Why not?

Well maybe it's just me, but I love blogging.

I like getting comments from other photographers who find what I blog about useful, and gives me a reason to be regularly shooting and learning so I can share it with others and provide good content.

Everything I know about photography has come from other photographers blogs, so I figured I would try to return the favour so to speak.

Good content karma as I call seems to work if you can put the effort in the actually write stuff worth reading, then there are plenty of benefits.

Please now ignore my shameless self promotion. :)

I made my post above as a bit of fun, but to answer the question seriously, no I don't have a 'blog; I don't keep a diary/journal either - I have no interest in it. I only look at 'blogs if I'm following a link for something specific (usually from a search page). I have some photos on photobucket - as a host site for linkage and for family and friends to share some photos, and a few on flickr - and I suppose that's the closest I get to a 'blog.

My online web posting is practically exclusively bulletin boards/forums.

I blog as a way of motivating myself to shoot, and as I work abroad a lot, it is useful for friends/family to see what I have been doing without having to attach loads of photos to emails.

Been blogging for about 4 years ago to compliment my website. I do it because I enjoy writing and sharing what I've learnt and what I've seen. If people read it, then that's great, and if they don't that's fine, I'm not trying to sell anything so it doesn't really matter either way. It's a free wordpress one so it doesn't cost me a penny, just my time.

Link in the footer on the off chance anyone is interested.

I've just started one, on my new fancy website. I used to have one dedicated to my spinal surgery, but once that was over I rarely updated it. I've decided to make a real effort to keep the new one updated!

Used to have a couple but gave them up a while back, found myself repeating the same old stuff.

Just had a browse of your blog Chris :) love the inspiration that comes from it and some great photos, love the style of photography.

Well done and keep blogging

We're considering adding one to our website but we already use Facebook/Pinterest/Twitter and I'm wondering if a blog will just be too much to keep track of

I blog as I know it's good for my business and website SEO, though I really do struggle for what to write about. I did promise myself I'd regularly keep it up to date and blog as many shoots as possible, but I just couldn't imagine anyone is really interested, so now only write it when I've completely run out of any other jobs to do.
