No
There is sooooo many times when im out and about that i wish i had a camera with me...hmmmm carrying my D60 around with me is not kinda practical:suspect:

Do you have like a small camera that you carry all the time? I really dont like using the camera on my phone...so was thinking of buying a really small camera to have with me all the time:cool:

I have a sony 55 compact which i always have with me , plus my camera on my phone .:)

I almost always have a compact camera with me even if i dont have the "biggie"

I always carry a camera often a small 5 mp Pentax if not my Powerhot. The only recent time I didn't I was in Guildford High Street on a sunny Saturday when a duck escorted her 10 chicks down the whole length and across the main road at the bottom, blocked by her by then many supporters and into the river Wey. I'd left my camera at home thinking that we still had my wife's Panasonic in the backpack forgetting that I'd put the battery on charge before we left home. Of the 100's of people to follow the 'event' I was one of the few, very few not to have a photographic record. I always carry a camera....

I have a camera on my phone if that counts.. :)

Yes, currently my everyday carry-about camera is a Yashica Minitec Super. Small enough to fit in a jacket or jeans pocket.

D90 goes with me almost everywhere.:) I would hate to miss anything news worthy:lol:

Yes. Nokia phone camera is pretty decent. Used to always carry my little lumix but I've lost it somewhere so don't anymore.

Big advantage of a phone camera is that you can send the pics straight to flickr or whatever without needing to download them first. Don't think you can get a 3g version of the eyefi card yet. Would be brilliant if they did make one.

This is one of the reasons I always ended up feeling guilty buying an expensive camera, I never took it anywhere unless I was specifically going out to shoot.

I know a lot of people carry a compact camera but I never bother because most of the time I know I won't get the picture I want from a situation.

When I picked up my new camera I made sure I picked up something smaller to try and keep it with me more.

I tend to carry my D700 most of the time. I only have a small prime lens (28/2.8) so it's quite manageable. I even take it with me if I'm out pubbing/clubbing as there are often interesting things to capture after dark.

I usually carry one, but,:( was walking the dog the other day on the beach near Blackpool and the only flying Vulcan bomber came flying toward me along the coastline from Blackpool about 200 feet up.
Of course I reached in my pocket and Blast it,had left it in the car........:bonk:

Typical for me:
- 5D or 7D with me if I intend to take pictures
- GF1+20/1.7 always in the car
- S95 in wife's handbag or on my belt in a small pouch, just about always when going somewhere besides work or shopping
- iPhone4 in my pocket

So yes, I always have a camera at hand or not too far away. And the iPhone 4 is not a bad last resort...

I always always always either have my 5Dii or 1Dsii with me, and usually with the 70-200 on. Its got to the point where I have bought a new thinktank toploading sidepack so its not just hanging at my side all of the time and I can just put it down...

Just the one on my phone, I used to carry a small compact in the car, but as the phone cameras have got better in quality, there's no point in having two, it's really just for unforseen snapshots.

I carry my 40D when I know i'm going somewhere even vaguely interesting, even if I take it in my backpack, since I always carry a backpack!

For spare of the moment shots I have my HTC Desire HD which luckily has a really good camera (For a phone ofc).

No. Life's too short to be worrying about missed shots.

I frequently do my shopping at morrisons while wearing a backpack containing my 500 F4 amongst other things :D
I always have it on while walking anywhere too, even if photography is not planned/the intention of the day.
I have it on so often that if i'm outside without it on and suddenly realise it's not there, i have a split second panic attack thinking i've left it somewhere by accident :cuckoo:

I don't take photos of people or anything man-made so i don't have a camera with me if i'm not going to be anywhere near wildlife/nature photo opportunities the whole day.

I have a Canon S95 with me all the time. Slips in my top pocket and takes a pretty decent photo, also has RAW. I wouldn't be without it even when I have my 40D.

5D when I'm on a photographic mission.

Panasonic G2 with an FD 24mm f/2.8 or 50mm f/1.4 lens usually lives in my work bag* and goes on family trips and day to day shooting with a wider selection of lenses.

iPhone goes everywhere. As mentioned above, it's not a bad last resort.

edit: either that or an Olympus XA

I use to bring my 400d every time I go to work Mon Fri but o stopped as I need a bag to carry just a cam and 70-200. Lowepro classified 160 good?

About 75% of the time when out on trips. I can't take one to work, but often need to take photos and email them straight away so use an iPhone.

My phone. It's not a particularly good camera but when set at 640x480 it can take recognisable pictures that are acceptable at least for recording funny moments. It also serves as my mp3 player too, pretty good for a 5+ year old model.

Never normally leave home without my 20D and nifty, the odd time I have I'v missed a photo opportunity :'(

Yes when I don't have my d5000 I have my HTC desire HD phone camera and when I'm in the water I have my gopro HD so yes, normally have a camera of some sort on me.

I don't always have a real camera on me but do generally have my phone in the shirt pocket. It takes reasonable photos (for a phone) so is better than nothing. If I was carrying the D700, chances are that I would have the wrong lens mounted should I want to use it!

I wish I could have it with me! For just going out I take it with me, but it's too impractical to take to school everyday (I'm taking pictures for my school). So instead of my a330, I'll take my Olympus compact, which I hate :D

Always have my nokia n8 camera phone on me, which has a superb 12mp camera with 28mm lens. Not practical to take my slr with me everywhere, and I don't think I'd want to haul two grands worth of camera and lens round with me to work or when I nip out for a pint of milk.

always carry Canon sx210 even if the 7d doesn't get out as much as it would like to.

A G2 with 20mm pancake and the 8MB on my Samsung Galaxy S2.
That seems to cover most of the bases and I always have a bag in the boot with a few other mft lenses for the Pannie if the location looks promising.

I normally have my DSLR + extra lens in my bag 90% of the time, especially since I got burgled one of the times I left my camera at home and lost all my camera gear. :( :bang: At the same time I lost my compact camera, a Fuji F31fd which was excellent, but recently bought a new compact (Canon S95) to initially be a pocket camera on holiday, but will be with me all the time from now on.

The camera in my phone is quite good (N95), but I hardly ever consider it because there are too many compromises as a camera. Even when I didn't have a compact for over a year, the phone was hardly used.
