Do You Agree With That The "Lords Prayer" Advertisment Won't Be Shown in Some Cinemas?

What is the framework in which a Jedi box ticker participates?
As above it does exist in real time and is just as relevant as the other stories around,
although this one was written at the time of the fact and not some 1000 odd years later,
so it has to be true, right?

:D

But if you don't why lie or put something in that is obviously a protest type vote but against who?
It seems to me its just a vote against your own intelligence and just makes one look rather foolish and childish.

People ticking (insert any religion here) simply because they were christened in the dim and distant past looks the same to me.
They're ticking for the sake of ticking. Being christened as a child does make you of a given religion.

If you hit the google button you will see that answer to that is a resounding yes

oh I am certainly not googling that nonsense, people following a faith/religion made up in a film staring Harrison Ford no sireee bob.

maybe one of the Jedi squad can pop up and just fill us in on what from his/her faith influences his life and how it enriches self.

What do they say? "Don't knock it, until you have tried it"? :D

Or maybe they would prefer to keep their heads down for fear of being demonised just like the Christians were ( metaphorically) thrown to the lions all over again, in a recent thread ;)

Perhaps that's what makes their chosen religion preferable to yours.....that fact that they don't feel the need to.

Anyone that offers an evangelist's video of warped science as proof that a god created life deserves to be taken to task in my view.

Raëlians believe that humanity has at various points in history been visited by extraterrestrials.
The people of ancient and modern times confused the aliens’ technology and power as “divine” and thus based spiritual movements on these experiences, forming religions throughout history.
Raëliasm, then, rejects the idea of supernatural beings, instead claiming that these aliens simply had far greater technology than humans.
Raël founded “Clonaid” in 1997, a venture to clone a human child, and its bishop (Brigitte Boisseleir) claimed to have successfully cloned a child in 2002 and again in 2003, attracting international media attention.

That could work ;)

Not so sure about this one though

John Humphrey Noyes founded the Oneida Community in 1848 in Oneida, New York.
They were a Utopian commune that believed that Jesus had returned to the Earth in the year 70 and, as such,
they could achieve spiritual perfection in this life in addition to Heaven.
They practiced “Complex Marriage”, a system in which all members of the community were married to each other simultaneously.
One could achieve higher spiritual merit by having sexual intercourse with older, wiser (and thus more spiritually attuned) members of the community.

Although Han Solo said
Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid."

Han Solo was swayed by Princess Leia who did at times look a bit like a temple accolite.

or they are after all just 14 year old box tickers that play waaaaaay to much world of warcraft.

In fact I wonder if that popped up on the census?

The amount of time that some ( many) adults seem to pray at the temple of Xboxstation it wouldn't surprise me in the least, if we saw "Gamer" as a religion, before too long

I couldn't give a s***e really, better than a totally un factual advert whereby a rabbit wakes up a bear in hibernation, no doubt killing it.

No idea what that is, not seen it, but if I was that bear, I'd eat the damned rabbit and go back to sleep :D

Maybe it's a Virginia Black Bear, which aren't always black, and often emerge from their dens during winter, with no ill effects.

Just sayin' ;)

So bear wakes...Bear eats rabbit...Bear goes back to sleep.
Yeah OK....I can live with that

yes and I can understand that but they believe in that and that spiritual belief forms a state of set of rules and guidelines for how they live the lives and what things they consider important, it is a framework.

What is the framework in which a Jedi box ticker participates?
Rules and guidelines? That is manmade stuff, the force doesn't require such ancient practises.

Oh come now....why limit it just to the obese ones.
Give the lions some sport! ;)

If Jedi becomes a religion, cinemas will refuse to show the new Star Wars film... :p

Ah no...see...they wouldn't.
They're not refusing to show film whose subjects are or contain religion.....there's been plenty of those; only religious advertising :-) :p
