Edit My Images
No
So my new site is nearly finished and i was wondering how many actually watermark their pictures?

Thoughts?

It depends where they are going, for my new site I do not watermark them, but then they are displayed fairly low resolution, with a transparent image overlayed. However for forums/facebook etc I do add a watermark.

As above, the low res images on my website are not watermarked, however the high/higher res 'proof' images on my client gallery page are watermarked for obvious reasons.
I use Jalbum for the client galleries, it has a very nice watermark option to automatically display the images watermarked with my website domain name in an embossed effect that is rather stylish (and requires no effort from me ;)). It also allows individual password protection of galleries/slideshows and disables download of your images if you wish. Well worth a look

I don't at present but think I might for my images on flickr.

What's the best way of adding and making my own watermark?

Look at one of the various threads in this forum, there must be at least one for each flavour of PP software...

Is it worth using watermarks on flickr and facebook when the photo size is quite small anyway?

another bonus of watermarks is if anyone else links to them, they who where to go / who originally took them if they want your skills :)

Yeah, but couldnt you just use a signature instead?
