Lol, Nikon D3000, Its gotten so bad, I even dreamt about it this morning xD! And then when i woke my gf said someones at the door, low and behold it was a child from next door lol

Lmao, good thinking, Considering i dont drive i dont think my gf *** drive me that far lol. I may aswell wait and stop being an impatient sod lol, only thing that really annoys me, is that iv orderd a 8GB card to be deleiverd to so i can take photos with it, considering they dont supply one with it. So its pointless to me even if it does arrive tomoz *** they dont have a internal memory do they?
 
In my experience with shipping companies (as a retailer as well as a consumer) I have found that if a parcel isn't marked for Saturday delivery and the van for that route is low then there is a good chance that it will be delivered on a Saturday just to fill the van. But then again with the backlog from the bad weather I would think your chances on that one may be slim.

DHL will only deliver on a Saturday if the sender has paid for a Saturday delivery, mind you you'll be lucky if it arrives on Monday - a lot of my DHL deliveries are coming up as "undeliverable to to adverse weather conditions" :dummy:
 
In my experience, you'll not be seeing that until Monday - sorry. :(

On a brighter note though, I had the nice RMSD guy at my door an hour ago delivering my 17-40 f4L ;)

I am in the same boat although this morning on the tracking mine says "with delivery courier" if I dont get my camera soon I think I will go mad

I just want to go play with it!
 
On Tuesday a DHL van was parked outside where I work, I almost went over and asked if they had my lens. Then I thought why would he be delivering it to me here instead of the delivery address, then I remembered it was FedEx delivering the lens and not DHL. I was excited, gutted and stoopid all at once. :woot: :gag: :amstupid:

I like to try and convince myself they see my name and say "What? It's for Dan? Get it there NOW!!" :nuts:
Took delivery of my macro lens yesterday, very happy bunny!
 
DHL you will be lucky if you get it at all.

I sat in all day Thursday as my new tripod and monopod was with them on Wednesday, nothing came, Friday morning the out for delivery status was on so I waited in again and at 17:53 when I was sat in the living room, and Dad was on his phone to a friend apparently there was no one here to receive and they left a card. No DHL van out side or anything and no card on the mat lying people ;)

I'm gonna go collect it in 5 minutes from the Ashton depot. I can't afford to wait in for another day and miss work.
 
DHL just delivered mine so fingers crossed you will get yours. The delivery guy was kind enough to wait whilst I checked it was all okay which is was :)
 
I got my Royal Mail parcel today, only sent first class as well :D

Waiting for a big purchase is like being a 6 year old at Christmas, you never grow out of the anticipation of getting your shiny new toy.
 
Lol, its horrible aint it and yeah its like xmas all over again although i wanted it at xmas, and my 21st in november , and iv been waiting for nearly a year so i cant wait any longer lol

Give them a ring, I had a lens being delivered last year by them and was given a date and time -> between 8 and 6pm, phoned them up (Manchester depot) to see if I could collect / any better idea of time, the lady I spoke to was very helpfull and pleasent, she put me on hold for a minute or two and contacted the driver who was already out delivering with an approx time he thought he'd be here - gave me a 90minute window :thumbs:

Definately worth a quick call, rather than sitting there on Monday waiting and wondering. Hope it arrives and enjoy your new purchase :clap:
