Do Jessops still price match?

Are per title? I can see loads of information on the internet about them doing this last year, but nothing recent?
 
Great. Did you do it before or after your purchased your item?

Some information I found on Moneysavingexpert suggested it could be done before or after.
 
I discussed what I wanted and let the sales guy talk to me about deals , once we got to the till I ask for his deals in writing as to compare with another dealer and that I would go for a coffee and think . 2 hrs later I was back in the shop told them what had been offered which was the same. Then I haggled some additional items which in the end worked out a better deal in total .
 
Two branches I visited recently, Stirling and Livingston, both Scotland, told me recently that in their branches, they would only match their own internet prices - too many non-UK websites in internet to compete with. However, they might throw something in depending on the value of the purchase.

My local Jessops (Merry Hill) will match with any high street dealer within 10 miles from them, although I have never seen the point really in matching someone elses price, what we need is someone to beat the other shops's price, otherwise you may as well buy from the first shop.
 
my local branch (ipswich) have also told me they will price match warehouseexpress.com as well as any other shop that sells cameras within 10 miles of the store.

Be careful of Jacobs, as unlike Jessops, they have a draconian returns policy, ie. No returns other than those forced on them by Sale of Goods Act.
 
Last time I tried to get a lens price matched from Jessops, they wanted a letterheaded quote from the cheaper store.

Needless to say I just bought from the other store...
