Do Jessops price match competitors web prices

Not sure which camera I would want yet but would rather get from a real shop but only if thier price was close to other web site prices.
 
Jessops do not price match web. An individual Manager or Team leader may make the decision to price match if the overall deal breaks even but you'll now no longer ever see a price match on a single piece of hardware.
 
yes it depends on who you speak to and their mood... so it really depends on your luck.
 
When I bought my 550D, they were happy to price match Argos.
 
Price matched for me on a 7d and grip, it really does depend on the store you visit...

DayDreamer you must haggle with them they will do it in the end......
 
Yes they will price match to other local stores with no issue. You can get them to price match to further a field stores, but you sometimes need to push
 
I think they will price match on certain high value items but only to local shops and not the web. On the lower items such as CF cards they wont price match. I asked them to pricematch a £25 Sandisk CF card that was available about a mile away at Asda for £10 cheaper, they basically said I hope you enjoy the exercise. As I'm disabled and cannot walk too well at times and I was desperate for the card as my 7D was at home waiting I spent the extra £10. Not in a great hurry to go back now though.

If you really did receive treatment like that then name the store and also complain to customer services. The policy is 15 miles radius without question, to ANY actual shop.

In fact PM me the store location I'll question them. :thumbs:
