Yes
Recently bought an Epson v500, however now I'm getting to grips with using it I noticed that the negs are slightly larger than the 35mm frames. The film slots in fine enough but the aperture is few mm smaller than the image on the neg. Is this normal or do I need other frames?

Additionally I have a load of really small negs with a paper strip down one side, cant be bigger than 10mm wide per shot, Can you get holders for them?

I'm scanning at 3200dpi, 24 bit colour with back light correction, exposure correction and colour restoration. Gives about a 30 meg file size.

Thanks

Every camera makes a slightly different shape of frame on the neg.

Unless you're losing a significant amount of the frame I wouldn't worry.

If you measure the negs I suspect the frame will be slightly larger than 36x24mm rather than the holder being smaller.
