Do Hi-Tech / Formatt filters fit the Cokin P holders?

I am thinking of upgrading my filter kit and have been studying this for a while now.

The problem is that I have a rather big list of Cokin A and P filters and accessories. Would rather keep as much as I possibly can.

Will the Hi-Tech (which are the same as the Formatt) filters fit in the Cokin P holders? I read that they do fit, but I've also seen that their sizes are not the same. There is a 1mm difference :shrug:

Anyone using this combination?

I am using these filters in my Cokin filter holder, the fit is tight, but I have had no problem with them.

Yeah fine, the fit is a little tight (86mm vs 85mm) but it all works.

I use a Kood one and a Cokin wide angle one, the Kood is a little easier to fit.

Well a bit of a rub line from friction but as this is covered anyway by the holder its a minor cosmetic thing.

hey wail...formatt filters are based in the aberdare area,so it might be worth contacting them with a view of getting them direct..:shrug:

How weird is that! They are practically just down the road from me , well not that close but not more than an hour's drive.

yeah,only about half an hour from me in neath,so i may pay them a visit soon...well,i need to seeing as i lost all my filters whilst on hols :bonk:
