Hi I always shoot in RAW and save them as a DNG file when downloading theminto my computer, but, can anyone tell me how i can see what they are ( like a JPEG ) without having to open them up in CS3 everytime to find out?
Okay, i knew that, but if i save my downloaded images to a folder in My Pictures and then open that folder up for viewing, all i see is the thumbnails with the DNG icon on it ,unlike JPEGs. Do i have to open up Bridge?

I use Adobe DNG Convertor to convert RAW to DNG and I can view them in explorer on a vista machine no problem.
I dont recall installing any other plugins either, but I do have CS3, Canon DPP and lightroom 2 installed which may have stuck something in there on the quiet.
