So, I'm looking at changing my Onkyo from the TX-SR606 Receiver to the NR Series and was wondering if anyone had any experience with these amps and a DLNA setup, my required scenario is as follows:-
Before anyone mentions it, yes I am aware of Sonos and no I don't want it. I want to simply keep my Synology, upgrade my Onkyo and be able to enjoy my music without having to switch on the TV to navigate the DLNA.
Does ANYBODY understand anything I just said or have any experience of this?
Here's hoping there is someone out there who has or is looking at a similar setup!
- In the front-room, I want to play some music, open up the Onkyo App on my iPhone or Nexus 5, select the music by browsing the DLNA and then select the album.. Easy enough from what I've read
- Where I seem to have trouble is finding out if I can simultaneously stream another DLNA Source Music Track to the Zone 2 output of the Onkyo.
