I've just ordered a Mavric Pro for some video and aerial photography.

Anybody who has one of these and can recommend ND \ CPL filters. There seem to be numerous products out there and I assume with varying qualities. Some are IMO rather expensive for what they are.

Have a look on amazon TACO-RC snap on ND filters. Have these myself, great quality and the gimbal can still calibrated with these on, no catching. The DJI ones at the moment seem to be very fragile, lots of people breaking them even though there very careful.

If you go for taco rc the MC (MultiCoated) version is about £10 more but worth it as it reduces that refraction thing rather than making it worse.
Taco RC do seem pretty good at not shifting colour much.

Great I'll take a look. You're right the DJI ones do look very cheap and nasty.
And not cheap when you add on the shipping.

I know, I was shocked at the price of these things but then again, as a photographer I'm used to being shafted up the behind for accessories.

I've just paid £24 for two weather seal bands from my Canon lenses. That was the cheapest I could find on eBay. Lehman's quoted me £30 each . They can't be worth more than a few pence.

Nisi have just launched filters for the Mavic - I use their 150mm filters on my Nikon and they are very good quality. Also, I use PolarPro filters for my Phantom 3 Professional and GoPro - both good, reliable brands.

Cheers everyone. I've gone with the TACO-RC multicoat for now.

Nearly went for the PolarPro cinema series $$$$$, but couldn't find local stock and thinking about I'm not sure how effective CPL filters will be on a moving drone.

I am one of 2 official resellers in the UK of NiSi products. I will be receiving my first shipment of the new NiSi drone filters for the Mavic Pro and the P4P Monday/Tuesday. We will also be at the photography show for the duration on stand B32. Come along and say hi. :-)
