Just running it on my Mac Mini to see how it effects cpu usage, ie whether it kicks off the fans when I sleep
It did spin the fans up so I can't run it
and help to keep the site free for all

I wouldn't bother running it on a laptop anyway Pete, it pushes CPU usage up to 100% and as you've noticed can cause heat issues with lappys. Shouldn't be an issue on desktops unless the coolings poor.
