Just had a question from a recent Bride.

They placed disposable cameras on the tables in the evening and aren ow looking for the best place to get them processed. Obviously looking for low cost as they don't know what's on them all!

Anyone got any suggestions?

The bin!

We had them on our tables and when the bridesmaids finished with them we had loads of shots of people's legs and ankles. A real waste of time.

If they've got an Asda locally that still does photo processing, they can get a film developed and scanned to CD for as little as a couple of pounds a go. Sometimes the scans can be a little rough but it's the cheapest way to get films developed that I've seen. I normally use my local Asda when I've run a film through a new camera to test it's working ok and then re-scan any negatives I like the look of.

Thanks guys. I know what you mean Adam. Had a B&G send some in a few years ago and the lab refused to print some of them!

I think the fact they are disposables might be a problem Dean as they are sealed and need the lab to break them open. Do you know if ASDA will do that?

Anyway I'll pass your suggestion along so thanks very much.

I haven't taken a disposable to Asda but most of those wind the film into a standard 35mm canister and the camera shells are designed so you can open them, then it's just like processing any other film. I've not come across any film processor who can't develop disposables, if that helps :)

Thanks Suz and Dean
