The TP52 - 2026 Disney 93s' 52 for 2026 - Weeks 9 - 11 with Tech

Week 1 - Lines & Angles - Tech: Framing

One of Mr Browns' gifts over the festive period included a case of Hawkstone with 2 Tankards. We noticed that they included the longitude and latitude printed on the tankard. I'm hoping I have also managed to cover the Tech on the first picture as well.

Ooh, very clever. Lines - tick. Angles - tick, but not in the way most of us have thought about it.

Well done.

subtly Illustrated Sophie, Nice

Actually I prefer the second one, it focusses the attention the single subject and a great DoF

First one for me, the bokeh in the second sends mys eyes funny

That's a good one Sophie, I think that you chose the right one.

Week 3 & 4 - (Windows & Doors / Something Broken)

In my local area, there are a few derelict buildings, they've unfortunately been this way for a while now which is such a shame, they're right by the beach which is causing such an eye-sore. The Sands pub, used to be a place to grab a pub meal after taking a walk on the beach, or for those who used to stay at Pontins directly opposite which is also closed and derelict.

Week 4

Not only is the pub becoming broken, the lamp-post outside it has also suffered.

Something Broken

Your street light much more broken than the one in my shot ;)

WRT to the Windows / Doors shot. Were you constrained by the environment, as the crop into the left of the building seems odd if you had the ability to step back a couple of feet to capture the whole thing? Of course, for all I know you were right back against a sea wall or something.

Windows & doors
It's a shame to see pubs and other businesses close down. Like you say, they can look a bit of an eye-sore.

Broken
That looks a bit dangerous, let's hope they get it fixed soon.

There is a roundabout behind me. Probably should have taken Mr Browns wide angle lens with me instead thanks for the feedback.

I’ve not been round at night but it wouldn’t surprise me if the light doesn’t even work!

Week 5 - Rainy Day

I love doing a bit of cooking, whether its baking cakes or trying new recipes for the slow cooker. Today, its cold and miserable with rain, I'm having a rare day off work from the hospital. So there is a curry in the slow cooker and I've decided to try a recipe from a Christmas present to myself, I love a glass of Baileys, so a Baileys Cookery Book is right up my street! So tonight will be Baileys Bread and Butter Pudding!

That sounds like a wonderful way to spend a rainy day, and your image describes it very well.

Good take on the theme Sophie and well exposed (always difficult through a window), and I love B&B pudding!!!!

I'd have just straightened the image slightly to get the window frame vertical, but that's just me being me.

I didn’t actually realise it wasn’t straight I’ll keep an eye out for that in future pictures.

Nice take on the theme :)

Never too late to straighten it :)

Week 6-8 (Looking Through, Reflections in Water, Vintage Objects)

I am a little bit behind, but on a recent trip to Edinburgh, we took the Walkway of Leith from Dean Village through to the Port of Leith. Great walk to do if you're ever going to visit.

The vintage objects was taken in a friend of the family garage where they like to renovate and build vintage cars from scratch and then take them for drives around the country. They avoid motorways at all costs as the maximum speed they can reach is 45mph!

Week 9-11 (Time - with Tech, Song, Colour Red)

A few snappy pictures from round the house but with the weather not playing ball, and with night shifts looming I needed to catch up before next week.

Song - Ashes

I imagine most would think of Celine Dion - Ashes from Deadpool 2, I also know of another song called Ashes by Sebastien Izambard from Il Divo.

Colour Red

Known as a 'Pink Lady' but are usually very red (and juicy).
