Discussion / idle chat thread (2022) Week 52 Showcase

If it carries on here my grass will be long enough and I can take a landscape out the back with shadows from the long grass lol
After 6 weeks of virtually no rain, and a few heavy downpours recently, over night, I actually managed to skim to skim the top off the grass.
Its looking much better for it :)

It's just been horrid hasn't it. I will end up strimming the grass and then going over with the lawn mower probably

'Scapes ' - that means I am having to get up off my bahookey and go into the great outside this week! Torrential downpours here for the last 2 days. If anyone wants some down south I will try and redirect.......................

Oh so true. Todays forecast ... rain + amber warning, tomorrow ... rain, Saturday ... cloudy with very occasional sunny intervals + rain, Sunday ... cloudy + light rain and finally Monday ... cloudy + rain. So it's going to be drookit with some stoating showers, dreich and plowetrey, a typical weekend :(, I just hope it improves before next Thursday

'Scape? I hope that a seascape will do! Might have a bit of land in it though. Will be late posting last week's snappers' choice - Internet is worse than iffy here so only here to see new theme. Back to bad rather than non existent Internet access tomorrow.

If this rain continues I might be able to do a seascape from my front door!

'scapes - beltin.

Week 36.

I know we all live in different environments,
so lets just call this weeks theme 'Scapes. be that land or city / town.
You chose, and its another ideal theme for you to get the Tech, in aka Shadows.

I am so kind to you lot at times :D

So a nice wet Scape will be on the cards then still raining here.

Its not started here today yet, but a nice storm is predicted in the next hour or so.

Although I haven't commented and haven't taken part this year I have been keeping an eye on things, some great stuff this year.
Why do I find myself wanting to have ago again, the thought of doing it always seems better then when I actually have ago.

can it be applied more than once?
You can use it as many times as you want,
although only one is required for the tech, tick. on the scrolls

I'm not stopping my 52 but for quite a while I will be playing catch up, found out earlier way I might of fallen last week, sadly my weight is down to 8 stone and still falling so I will slowly plod on till the GP finds out what is going on.
Look after yourself @Fuji Dave. Are you eating ok? still feeling stressed?

Sorry to hear about your weight loss. I hope the GP can resolve this for you soon. Take care of yourself and keep plodding on.

I did toy with the idea of subverting it by getting my old fancy dress out of the box (in my profile pic) and submitting Kell's cape

As @-Oy- hasn't reminded me this week it may not go ahead :D

Shocking indeed! I need to work out watt to do for this one now. Ohm my gawd, I'll try not to dig into the volts for an older image though, amp look to do something fresh.
