Got some desert camo scrim netting somewhere - nice dappled light comes through it. Pretty sure there are still some leaves on the trees too!
 
Week 28

In this heat, we certainly all need Water

Not here at the moment, burst main, faulty pump.
Mk is either without it or on very low pressure.
Estimates for fixing, ranging from 13:30 - 15:30.

I'm one of the lucky ones, hardly any pressure but at least its still flowing.

Oh no!!! I hope you got some warning. Ours was off for 4 hours two days ago whilst they put a stopcock in further up the road, but at least they warned us so we put some by. Now they are digging up the road trying to fix a leak.

Yep this morning when it wasn't working
and 2 mins ago when Anglia Water apologised by text that there is some disruption to supplies in your area :D
on local social media sites, it seems there are also 2 burst water-mains in MK!

I'm OK I always keep a 2 or 3 bottles of water in the freezer anyway.
Allow to thaw a little and add juice, I'm sorted :)

That is not good in this hot weather. And imagine if you were in the shower all soaped up?! Now my mind is boggling :LOL: I recently went into a public loo and discovered there was no water after soaping up my hands :rolleyes: Let's hope they get it sorted fast.

The work in our road has not affected our water thankfully, at least, so far. I think the stopcock may have allowed them to isolate it.

Living a 1 min drive from the sea this shouldn't be a problem :banana:

Its a good 2/12 hrs for me, and that's on a good day.
 
I live half a mile from the beach and I must say in this hot weather I really appreciate it - not that I go there at these times much (too many people!), but I think it just keeps us a little cooler.

Hoping you get your water back on soon @Cobra Not good in this weather.

well after bragging about how easy Half would be, I've finally done a catchup for the 3 weeks I missed....and all ended up as smartphone shots because lugging my camera kit around in this heat seemed a chore - shame, as I had a brilliant plan for half, then just couldn't find the time to actually do it.

Was going to do a silhouette face half lit, half not - will still try and do it for the challenge, but couldnt work it out properly for some reason

I often end up with ideas that I never execute :rolleyes: but at least it gets us thinking!

Easy peasy

(No extra prizes for 4 candles either :D )
 
I think I have a handle on how I'd like to handle this one. But it involved something I haven't handled with my photography before so we'll see how it pan(handle)s out :)
 
I wonder how Robert Mappleforth would have handled this theme...
