Hi all... Sorry if I seem to have vanished off the face of the earth. I've been on holiday with a non photographer and then back to compiling village newsletter and setting up for jubilee celebrations. I've even baked cakes!! Photography and spare time have been non existant in the last couple of weeks so I have a major catch up to do once the "stuff" is over.
 
Here we are again on theme eve. Finally getting our new home summat like - and we have internet YAAAAAAAAY!!!!!

Anyhoo - The Snakester will be blessing us with his wisdom tomorrow with a new challenge for the forthcoming week. Get those metal pix in today if you can!

I totally love this theme, only because while I was out today a lady walked past with her pet and she told me it is her Treasure. Even the Snake man Chris will like it.
 
Little catch up from me this week as I've been in hospital. If you're at all squeamish, please don't check my thread ( it's actually not worth checking at all anyway - rubbish phone pics). For me it is a matter of pride to try and keep up in the right week if possible and this somewhat documents my year.

I've had elective surgery so as one nurse reminded me, it was almost self inflicted :confused: Recovery will be a little longer than hoped, but it's good to be home now.

It may be a little while before I'm back up to speed with comments or manage to get out with camera, but I'll do my best.

You take as long as it does take to recover Bebop, have plenty of rest and come back with a bang.
 
Many thanks all. Each day I’m seeing improvement (y) Just checked back on my phone as I was a bit worried my pic was too gruesome :cautious: I don’t want to upset anyone.
 
TBH, if I can stand to see a canula in a hand, most people can!

Despite having several tattoos, I'm anything but a needle fan, although at least I can have blood taken and be given assorted jabs when necessary these days.

My son has a needle phobia, he had a lot of blood taken from a very young age into double figures,
And yet he is I won't say covered in them, but not far off!

I’ve had 3 canulas in the last week so I’m feeling and looking somewhat like a junky. I confess I look away when they’re inserted.

I gave blood for many years and it was payback time. I was hoping I might come home with super powers :LOL: who knows? My photography may suddenly improve?!!

Thank you all for your good wishes. I am forever grateful that this is a temporary state for me and my heart goes out to all who live with difficult health conditions.
 
Wishing you all the best for a quick recovery @Bebop. Look forward to seeing more of your piccies when you're back out there with your camera.

Not good to read this, spent too much time in hospitals with my wife so I can sympathise…… elective or not. Good luck in the recovery and hope you got good “photography“ blood ;)

One idea I had for this week was the contents of our bin - one man's trash is another man's treasure! However, there's nowt in it yet - not created a bagful since it was collected last week.

Mrs WW is in Thailand at the mo. They don't have bin men or at least not where she is and instead a guy comes on a moped and takes your rubbish away. It's amazing how he manages the loads on that moped. Anyway, there's living in it for him.
