I need your advice fellow TP'ers.

I have been a member of UK Large format for a couple of months but have been an infrequent visitor, it seems that it's a bit slow and people are busy, usually only popping in when the monthly "look what you have missed" e-mail pops up.

Last week the e-mail arrived and contained therein was a listing for a 5x4 enlarger, upshot is I bought it. As usual my brain will be going ten to the dozen with the usual myriad of questions, many of which will be mostly nonsensical. :)

You guys have tried to help me from the start of my film photography journey here on TP, for which I am both very appreciative and very grateful.

I know that you guys are some of the most experienced film photographers in Britain but are you at all interested in my LF adventures or should I just p*** off over there with my questions?

I agree that I got a bargain, the Easel alone retails at a thousand and Paul was kind enough to include two packs of good fine art paper and two unopened packs of 5x4 film

I am over the moon. :)
 
Sounds like you did very well.
There are a number of very experienced LF folk here n addition to Kevin, so I think you'll definitely get questions answered here. My own LF adventure is still very much at square one, so I'm interested to follow yours!
 
Absolutely not, keep asking, makes me feel better I can help others instead of getting off my arse and getting out with my Sinar, Ive never found the 5x4 UK site very active, the LFF is probably the best resource in the world and being in the UK we only really miss out on the really good deals. I've sold to UK people on there as well.
