Right here's my dilemma, I have a 10d 20d and 5d and I am thinking of getting a 40d for the increased frame rate, larger lcd and silent shoot ability:thumbs:.

Do I sell my 10d and 20d or do I keep one, possibly the 10d as the 20d I could sell easily and it has a grip which I could use on the 40d:shrug:

Please give me your thoughts:help:

How Many Cameras Do You Need? Do You Use All 3 At The Mo? If Not Then I Would Lose The 10 As Being The Oldest And That Would Leave You With The 3 Best, But Im Sure Someone With More Knowledge On All The Cameras Will Be Along Soon

if it was me, unless i actually needed more than two bodies, i'd lose the 10 and the 20. i can't see what they offer that's not covered better by the 5 and 40.

Without an actual job to do, the 10 and 20 will just gather dust and you won't ever use them as they can't match the image quality. that's not to say that either are bad but if you can have a better file from a faster working camera, why wouldn't you?? :)

:agree: the 10 and the 20 are eclipsed by the 40D and the 5D has that lovely 35mm sensor.. 40D and 5D are the two to keep.

You can never have too many cameras or lenses .........

Where did you get that photo of me from :shrug:

I reckon I'll have to get a 40d anytime soon, before the cashback offer ends anyway, then sell my 10d and 20d, the image quality is another good point, although I'm well pleased with what I get anyway:thumbs:

I'd get rid of the 10 and the 20 unless you were looking to have a camera you wanted to use in bad weather or leave out as a camera trap or something. Then I'd use the 10D for that...

Double check on that idea with the grip too - I think it needs to be a BG-E2N to fit on the 40D.
