Yes
Just looking through the dreaded ebay for a G11 and Digital Rev have some pretty good prices.
Feedback looks OK - has anyone here used them?

yes & they were fine.
Only thing to watch out is that some of their auctions/offers incl. VAT & some don't so HMRC may ask for a payment if it doesn't slip through in the post.

thanks - I did notice the VAT/duty issue.
I gan't believe the different prices I've seen though - one local camera shop wanted £560, another £460 with a 4GB card and then there are the Ebay prices!

Well you can certainly take this with a pinch of salt........

" In Stock, ships within 24 hours ".

Paid for a battery on the 18th and they dispatched it today with an estimated 7 to 14 day arrival time.

Ho Hum!

Never had a problem with DR.

I was told they were a bit slow by another member here.

Looks like he was right, let's hope it does the job when it does arrive.

I bought a Nikon D200 from them, and apart from a mis-communicated tracking number, and a bit of poor communication on their part, everything was fine. :)

The camera price had the Customs +VAT included, should it be charged, which it was a week or so later, and Digital Rev reimbursed my account with the Import Duty I paid. :)

Had used before with no problems but my last order, which was an 'in stock in the uk' item took weeks with no response to emails for days on end, so mixed feelings now, not sure I would trust their claims on stock or del now, which is a shame.
Only excuse offered in the end was that it was a holiday in HK therefore they could not ship, item was in the uk already and the hol was 2 days not a fortnight lol.

Bought my D200, 18-200, 50, 105vr, D40x kit, SB600 & SB800 from them in 2007 and it took 5 days to arrive. Cost £70 duty but they repaid part of that because the camera and 105vr were purchases where they promise to do that. Then purchased another camera from them later but cant remember which one. Both times had no problems whatsoever. They also give a further discount if you pay them directly by BT into their HSBC account. I did this for the D200 etc as the discount paid for the 50mm lens (back then it was £45!!) anyway I would use them again but the saving at the moment is not as big as it was and I found that by shopping around in this country I have been able to compete (esp when offers are taken into account)

Personal experience from a couple of years ago means I will no use them again.

Certainly then their version of 'In Stock' can actually mean 'We believe it is in stock with our suppliers' - and the poor service begins when it is not in factin stock with their suppliers.

I purchased rather an expensive lens from them that was duty free/ship within 24h using a fast service. 4 days later no lens, so I contacted them. I was provided with a tracking number that did not exist with ups. Eventually I got a refund and bought local.

I have, however, had great service from HK seller One Stop Digital

Bought a few items from them. I ordered a dslr body from a company in the UK which came in 3 days, and a 70-200 lens from DR which came in 2 from Hong Kong! Just go for auctions which say they'll pay back any import tax

I've used them > 10 times and have no issues whatsoever, most items were received in 2-3 days from ordering

Well it's 2 or 3 times your delivery time to even get it on a plane, so you can see why I am none too chuffed!

anyone want to do this?
