Digitall's 52!!! Week 27 Art

Allan, I like the image, although it doesn't shout street at me. The blast of pink stands out so well against the rest, I'd be tempted to colour pop it (keeping her in colour), as the remaining colour in the image is superfluous.

Here we go for this weeks topic. Due to health problems I have resorted to using an image from late last year for this weeks theme.

Wow.. that's a cracking shot. Love the mistiness over the wings :clap: I hope you feel better soon

Hope you're feeling better soon Allan.
I'm glad that we got to see this shot though. I wouldn't know where to start with taking a shot like this so I'm completely out of my depth in offering any C&C, other than to say well done

Where were you when you took this?

That certainly meets the criteria! It's a well taken shot and one which I would be proud to be able to achieve. If I had to offer any crtiticism I would only say that it might benefit from a slight boost in contrast. I know the grey of the aircraft won't change much, but the hills in the background look a little lacking.

I'm assuming this was taken on a fairly grey day with high humidity, which I know won't have helped, but maybe a small tweak in PP will lift it a little?

Hi Allan, I keep finding 52s I missed, and yours is one of them! :)

I love your Speed photo - it's awesome and a fantastic pov. I like the colours as they are - they suit the subject and if the shot was taken in Wales, the slightly soft misty background looks about right! :)

I hope you're feeling better soon.

Allan, that is AWESOME! It looks like a basket with three little people holding hands in it!

Week 1: I really like, simple but effective!
Week 2: Great dof, lovely and sharp
Week 3: Wow, what an image! great timing and very impressive!
Week 4: Great wb, but as the crop is quite tight its not my favourite of yours so far
Week 5: Great capture, very effectively conveys speed
Week 6: quite a loose interpretation of the theme i think, but a good image none the less!!

Great shots, love the typhoon... taken around the mac loop by any chance...?

Week six is stunning, there's no other word for it... I struggle to get a single drop in focus, let alone something like this... well done...!!

For this weeks theme I have decided to give you lovely people a present. This is a basket made of milk with red and blue food coloring added. I hope you enjoy the present.

That is a lovely present, thank you Allan . . . although it doesn't quite work to make it fit the theme ;)

A very well executed shot and I'm just a bit jealous. My waterdrops to date have all been a bit rubbish.
I can't help thinking that there's more to it that could be brought out in PP though. A bit of a straighten and maybe a tweak in curves or just a bit more contrast.

I've no idea how you did that but it's very cleverly done. Not sure the background is the best or that it meets the theme for the week but well done for capturing it nonetheless

Allan, that's a stunning present, and seriously showing off  well done for getting it...

Nicely caught Allan. It's spot on for the theme... it's the expression on the young ladies face that has me wondering... "Yeuch!!! no, I don't want to push that... I might get my hands dirty!!!"

Echo the thoughts from above. The ladies expression is great. "What the hell is that? eeeugh"

It's a mechanical horse so box 1 ticked :) (I'm no expert on car photos, in fact I hate car photos ;)), but appears nice and sharp on the subject and you've got the motion blur on the wheels and background. For me just needs more space in front of it to run in to. Other than that and considering I hate car photos (did I mention that already? :D) it's a good shot to my untrained eye.

Plenty of speed and motion in that shot Allan, the mechanical horse (as Darren said) fits the theme, but a little more space on the right would have been good. Not sure how you could have done that with the dirt spray captured too without zooming out a bit though.

I'm with John... the shot's cropped too tight for my liking. Probably a nice bit of panning and really difficult to do, but I don't feel qualified to comment.

Kind of hard for me to offer anything very constructive on the last 2 weeks - only because car shots are just not my thing.

Definitely caught some good expressions in the people shot and as already said the mud spray is very well captured for mechanical. You've also got the car amazingly sharp.

   I love the streaming tufts on his(?) ears. They almost look like flags flying in the wind.
This is another great "feel good" shot as an interpretation of play - it's got the awww factor too. Definitely made me smile :)

And technically, I think it's absolutely superb.
I know how difficult dog shots can be to get right and you've definitely nailed this one.
Not only have you frozen the movement perfectly, the focus on the eye is brilliant and you've even got a catch light in there.

I hope you've given your sister a copy of this, because I think it's one to treasure

That's cuter than it has any right to be :) Light, colour, angle, everything makes this look fun and bouncy. I think it's great

Excellent shot Allan, a wonderful image, and clearly playfull.

That's a great shot, nice and sharp, really playful image  I like the way you've positioned the dog on the right of the image with it looking to the left, it's nicely balanced.

The only thing that could be improved is to have some eye contact from the dog, although the dog would need to be positioned differently to keep the balance. That is a very minor thing and I think you should be proud of this shot :)

I'm not sure he's in that much control. Well caught and better placement in the frame than last time. I'm still not keen on car photos though :)

Allan, good work.. It's spot on. There's a lot of Chemistry going on in here, but you can't really see it all at work... so call it hidden chemistry I guess... ;)
