We're getting the bathroom ripped out and a new one with fitted units/basin, new WC and shower cubicle fitted, along with a digital shower. Our plumber is recommending a pumped Aqualisa Digital Quartz shower however I prefer the Axis model.

Has anyone got one fitted for info directly from a user?

TIA

I have the quartz one and I love it. We have the second button on the wall outside the shower cubicle so I don't get soaked when I turn it on.
What is it that you want to know?

Digital shower??...

Does that mean instead of a stream of water, a stream of 0s and 1s come out?

:)

Is yours a pumped model Lisa?

How'd you find it an electric shower?

We're looking to have remote outside the cubicle to turn it on and warm through, just so SWMBO doesn't get into a cold shower... before the 0's & 1's drown her ;)

We've had the digital version for three years( also has a diverted to fill the bath) It's a very good shower.

Cheers for that - just got to decide which model now as they both do the same, I guess it's all to do with the aesthetics.

I've had an Axis for about 7 years. A thing of beauty.

However, if your boiler breaks and you only have cold water then it won't work at all. I mean, if you want a cold shower.

For the short while our boiler was out of commission, we used the immersion heater to heat he water. Not a cheap option but I'd rather do that than shower in cold water! Tempted by a power shower. Maybe next year.

Unfortunately it was a combi boiler that failed :( No immersion. But we do have another shower that worked fine. If a little chilly.

Ah! I knew there was another good reason for replacing like for like (condensing but kept the cylinder rather than go for a full combi conversion). Handy for drying stuff too.

Check out the Aqualisa Rise range- fitted a lot of these lately and they can be used with the digital diverted valve if you fancy two heads or a bath filler as well . Great kit.

We're just having the one head and no bath but thanks for all the input so far folks. I've spoken to the plumber who gave me the quote for the job and he's going to have a look at the Axis, see what price he can one for and get back to me.

I have these fitted in my house, they are great and have ben trouble free for 3 yrs
