Do Digital Rev who advertise here on TP offer the same discount as Panamoz do if paying by Bank Transfer ?
 
I don't know, but beware you can and probably will wait weeks for anything you buy from them(Digital Rev) as it comes from Hong Kong.They get your order and then when they see fit to send the item they debit your account.So you are in a state of suspense having ordered but they send when they are ready.They don't tell you that until you have ordered and authorized payment.
 
I've ordered from digital rev ( as well as Panamoz ) and found them both extremely quick to deliver the goods, considering where they're both based they put a lot of uk based company's to shame.
 
Kestrel - sounds like you've had a bad experience.

I've ordered plenty of times from DR and Panamoz and they are always very good.

I would normally order on a Friday and UPS would be knocking at my door Monday morning.

I will definitely be using both in the future.
 
Thanks for the views, but back to my original question though, Do DigRev offer the same discounts for Bank Transfer payment that Panamoz do ? ?

I don't think they offer the 5% for direct bank transfer but might be wrong.

Well I tried to order from Panamoz today for a cannon 60d with both the 18-55 and the 55-250 lenses and it was a complete disaster. When it got to the credit card details I entered them and checked before proceeding but still there was an error message. Cant remember the exact issue but it was something to do with paypal rejecting my card and asking me to choose another payment method. Very suspect imo. I sent an email but they have so far failed to respond so I will be phoning them tomorrow on the number on their website just to make sure that this transaction has definitely been cancelled and I will not be charged.

I guess I will just have to buy from amazon and settle for 1 lens (the 18-55) and get the second one at a later date.

Turns out that the problems with paypal rejecting my card was due to technical difficulties at their end and nothing to do with me or my card. I might give them another go in a couple of days.
 
The original question is no longer an issue as I've purchased my kit from Panamoz,, I've purchased from DR before and had a great service from them...the serviced I received from Panamoz was equally as good if not slightly better.
 
I recently used Panamoz to order my Canon 60d. Was delivered with 5 days (including weekend), they supplied excellent tracking info and when I received it, it had full UK manuals and charger (genuine 3 point plug not 2 pin and adaptor). I would definitely use them again.
